Methodfield has opened a bilingual Working Sessions section for teams that need a decision, a changed operating mechanism or a disciplined learning cycle—not another agenda built around presentations. The release connects preparation, live work and follow-up in one practical system.
Eight outcome-led playbooks
The playbook library contains complete architectures for:
- strategic choice;
- one complex decision;
- portfolio priorities;
- recurring problem solving;
- cross-functional alignment;
- a new-team charter;
- team development;
- an after-action review.
Each playbook specifies when to use it, when not to use it, the decisions that must be named before the meeting, required evidence, authority, roles, a timed agenda, expected artifacts, failure modes and a transfer cycle.
A deterministic Session Finder
The Session Finder evaluates eight explicit factors: outcome, evidence, authority, system level, uncertainty, tension, time and follow-up capacity. Its recommendation comes from a versioned ruleset, explains the fit and suggests an alternative where useful.
The Finder can also advise against the planned session. It blocks a recommendation when decision authority is absent, evidence is too weak, a personal conflict needs mediation or no transfer owner can carry the work forward.
Exercises tied to observable behaviour
The exercise library adds twelve facilitator-ready formats, including a premortem, hidden-profile decision, constructive dissent, evidence gallery, broken handoff and strategy-in-use. Every exercise names its purpose, group size, duration, setup, steps, debrief, output, transfer and safety limits.
Exercises are not presented as entertainment. They belong in a session only when the observed behaviour and resulting artifact support the real decision or operating change.
Artifacts that survive the meeting
Eight structured templates cover the session charter, decision log, assumption register, evidence register, strategy one-page, experiment card, team charter and 30/60/90 review. Each can be copied or printed directly from the page.
